Nicest staff I have ever met at any nursery, both my children were very sad to leave here when we moved. Would highly recommend

My niece has been attending the nursery for just over two years & despite her struggling to settle she now loves it! The staff (Katey & Chelsea in particular) are superb with her & always friendly & informative when we drop off & pick up.
Lovely. In all of its aspects. From each individual teacher to the owners.

Our 3 girls attended Highfield Nursery School from when they were babies to just before attending school. We chose this setting because it is a home from home, all nursery staff get to know all the children well, and will adapt to the needs of the child. All our girls loved going to nursery, all the activities available, the sensory shed, the art room and the lovely outdoor space with plenty of variety of things to play with. On picking up we would often see them having their afternoon tea snack 'all fresco' in fine weather, having a wonderful social time with friends. Our whole family look back on the nursery years very fondly, our youngest just about to start school. The staff gave them all the best start and independence they need for settling in to school. Can highly recommend.
All three of our children attended Highfield Nursery School stretching over 10 years. It is an exceptional place, well run with a home from home atmosphere. The children still talk very fondly of their time there and all the wonderful staff who cared for them over the years. They always seemed to strike the right balance between care and stimulation, allowing the children to play outside in the beautiful gardens, art room or sensory shed (still remembered with great fondness and laughter by my 11 year old son.) Well done.

-Former Pupil- Mediocre, updated to windows ten long after it's launch and hadn't thought too heavily about upper KS2, because the food hall had tiny seating (fine for KS1 and lower KS2). Year 6 has practically no equipment. This could be because all the balls kept disappearing or because or because pupils weren't free the school didn't care about resupplying equipment for year 6s for a couple pounds - tennis balls- but were willing to built structures for year 5 and below to play on. Furthermore, the school didn't provide ample parking for parents, so cars were littered all along the street However, it has proven to educate well, because practically everyone who went to this school is (was, in a couple years) doing well is KS3, and I actually find KS3 easier than my time here. Furthermore, i made a couple good friends which i still have.
It's a very good school with lots of open space.
