This event was organised with enterprise in mind.. For someone wishing to start there own business it was very exciting and informative.

Union films is a pretty cool place! Cheap films, good popcorn and comfy seats.

Theatres for Southampton

NST Campus

University Rd, Southampton SO17 1TR, UK – 023 8067 1771

Performed on stage for the first time here and loved every second of it. Brilliant atmosphere, engagement staff are all friendly and helpful.

The theatre isn't great. It needs a modern refresh in general. However, the plays offered are very good, which brings 3 stars for the environment to 4 for the plays.

Mayflower Theatre

22-26 Commercial Rd, Southampton SO15 1GE, UK – 023 8071 1811

Fawlty Towers Dining Experience. Extremely limited set menu as they are catering for 80+ guests at full capacity, but food very good. The act was authentic and roving among guests, but the degree of exposure to it depends significantly on where you are seated as the act spent a lot of time at the rear of the restaurant (fortunately we were seated there so no complaints).

Love the Mayflower - definitely a much nicer venue than the Kings in Southsea... I can still feel my legs at the end of a performance for one thing! (Seriously Kings - get some new seating!) The only negative things about the Mayflower would be the lack of free parking anywhere nearby - not the theatre's fault, I grant you - but the cost of shows also seems to be rising far faster than inflation (or indeed: wages). Other than that - it's great.
